Works off Changi North

The working period for works off Changi North has been extended. The work is now being conducted until 7 June 2023.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.085 of 2022, the works are being carried out within the working areas bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1 01° 20.474'N / 104° 05.570'E
2 01° 20.303'N / 104° 01.977'E
3 01° 23.239'N / 104° 00.510'E

The soil investigation work and deployment of underwater objects will be carried out by divers as well as flat top barges supported by tugboats, supply boats and work boats.

Safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working areas.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
and
e) Communicate with Sembawang Control on VHF Channel 21 for assistance, if required.
