Work and classes suspended due to typhoon

Government work and classes at all levels in the Philippies’ National Capital Region, and Regions III and IV-A were suspended today (25 July) due to Typhoon Carina.

Typhoon Carina battered parts of the country with heavy overnight rains, triggering flooding and evacuation. Metro Manila mayors have agreed to put the entire capital region under a state of calamity as parts of the metropolis were submerged in floodwaters.
