Withdrawal of marker buoys/establishment of east cardinal mark buoy at Stanley Bay

Withdrawal of three yellow marker buoys and establishment of an east cardinal mark buoy will take place at Stanley Bay with effect from 1 August 2024.

The three yellow marker buoys “ST1”, “ST2” and “ST3” at the following positions (WGS 84 Datum) will be withdrawn:
(A) 22° 12.986’N / 114° 12.588’E
(B) 22° 12.988’N / 114° 12.609’E
(C) 22° 13.003’N / 114° 12.610’E

The east cardinal mark buoy “ST-E” with details as follows will be established:

Name: ST-E
Position (D) (WGS 84 Datum): 22° 12.995’N / 114° 12.610’E
Type: East cardinal mark
Shape: Pillar
Colour: Black with a single broad horizontal yellow band
Light Characteristics: Q(3) 10s
Colour of Light: White
Top mark: Two black cones, one above the other, base to base
Radar Reflector: Build-in
Material: Polyethylene
