Westports Malaysia advise that wharf repair works, involving hot and civil works, will be carried out at Port Klang’s Liquid Bulk Terminal (1, 2, 3 & 4) from 7 May through to 15 August.
Repairs will be carried out both on-wharf and underneath structures. This is a scheduled repair, required to ensure structural integrity.
The works will be carried out in stages with supervision from the Engineering team. During this period, minimal disruption is anticipated and the works schedule will be matched in accordance with vessel arrivals so as not to disrupt operations. In case of unavoidable circumstances, advance notification will be given to mitigate the impact of any delays.
Each terminal will require approximately 30 days for completion as berthing will be given priority.
