Adani Ports and Logistics have announced the plan to introduce part waiver scheme for vessels using LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) fuel at Mundra.

Waiver will be offered for the vessels using LNG as fuel based on following criteria:

  • Waiver scheme is applicable for all vessels which are running by dual fuel engine using LNG as a primary fuel in Mundra Port limit.
  • The port will offer 50% discount on port dues only.
  • The waiver is applicable for those vessels which are using LNG as fuel calling Adani Port limits.
  • Waiver on port charges will not be applicable for those vessels which are carrying LNG as a cargo and using LNG fuel.
  • Vessels must produce IAPP or similar objective evidence in the form of certificate prior arrival Mundra Port limit, which must indicate the specification of the vessel’s engine and fuel details to avail the waiver scheme.
  • All other vessel related charges will be applicable as per Ports BPTS tariff except mentioned above.

The waiver scheme will be effective from 1 July 2023 and remain in force until 31 March 2024, after which it will be revaluated for the further extension.
