Tropical Storm Nicholas is set to make landfall around Port O’Connor later this evening (13 September), with a slight chance of increasing to hurricane force.
The affected ports of Beaumont/Port Arthur, Corpus Christi, Galveston, Houston and Lake Charles remain open. Freeport, however, is expected to shut down from 19:00 hour local time and restart at 0700 hours on Wednesday 15 September.
