Traffic suspended due to adverse conditions

Vessel traffic in the Turkish Straits was suspended this morning (21 November) due to adverse weather and counter current conditions.

Traffic in the Dardanelles was suspended at 02:00 hours local time. Pilotage service was scheduled to resume in both directions at 15:20 hours local time.

Traffic in the Bosphorus Strait was suspended at 04:48 hours local time for vessels with LOA 200 metres and more, those manouevering at less than 12 knots and dangerous cargo carriers. Traffic for vessels manouevering at less than 10 knots and using pilot assistance was due to resume at 14:30 hours local time.
