Traffic control system back in service

Following a breakdown yesterday (20 March), the Kiel Canal’s traffic control system is now back in service, and all traffic groups can transit the waterway again.

However, there is now congestion in front of the Canal, with estimated delays of up to 8 hours anticipated at Kiel-Holtenau and Brunsbüttel.
