The Department of Energy (DoE), Abu Dhabi, has published the Revised Trade Effluent Control Regulations 2022 which came into force on 01 January 2022.
The purpose of these Regulations is to establish a legal framework to ensure Trade Effluent is managed safely and economically by the Wastewater sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The Trade Effluent Control Regulations 2022 supersede that First Edition of the Trade Effluent Control Regulations published back in June 2010.
All affected Maritime Sector’s entities are required to adhere to the Regulations and its requirements.
