Terminal risk status downgraded to Orange Code

In light of the recent Stromboli volcano activities, the authorities have downgraded the risk factors at Milazzo terminal to ORANGE CODE.

Under Orange Code, the terminal is allowed to berth a maximum of 4 vessels, specifically for Jetty No.2 at port side only, where Berth O5-05/Bis used for CPP/DPP and Berth O7 used for LPG). If O5 is occupied, another vessel cannot berth at Pier O7 and vice versa.

Normal port services and regulation will be provided as per standard port ordinance. Berthing and unberthing manoeuvres are subject to normal night restrictions.
