Temporary loading and unloading facilities at Kwun Tong

Two temporary loading and unloading facilities have been established at Kwun Tong. The temporary loading and unloading facilities will operate for a period of approximately nine months.

Four dumb lighters and one tugboat will berth at the facilities within the following operation areas for loading and unloading operation:

OPERATION AREA 1
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (D) and the adjacent shoreline:
(A) 22° 18.847’N / 114° 12.720’E
(B) 22° 18.841’N / 114° 12.728’E
(C) 22° 18.791’N / 114° 12.677’E
(D) 22° 18.798’N / 114° 12.669’E

OPERATION AREA 2
This area is bounded by straight lines joining the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (E) to (H) and the adjacent shoreline:
(E) 22° 18.789’N / 114° 12.659’E
(F) 22° 18.770’N / 114° 12.639’E
(G) 22° 18.817’N / 114° 12.586’E
(H) 22° 18.837’N / 114° 12.606’E

The hours of operation will be from 0700 hours to 1900 hours. No operation will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the operation will stay in the operation areas outside the hours of operation.
