The Hamriyah Port Authority has introduced a Pre-Loading and Discharge Agreement (PLDA) at Hamriyah Port, effective Sunday, 20 August 2023. This initiative aims to improve the efficiency of tanker vessel operations and optimise the loading and discharge procedures for different cargo types.
The implementation of Circular 6/2023 underscores the significance of submitting the PLDA document through the designated ship agent for all cargo-related operations. This document is obligatory for oil tankers and must cover all activities related to cargo handling.
