Australia’s Fair Work Commission has ordered the suspension of a series of 48-hour strikes by Australian Maritime Officers Union (AMOU) members employed tug operator Svitzer Australia.
The following stoppages will now no longer take place:
- Brisbane – 48 hour stoppage commencing 0600 on 22 February 2022
- Brisbane – 24 hour stoppage commencing 0600 on 24 February 2022
- Port Botany & Port Jackson – 48 hour stoppage commencing 0001 on 22 February 2022
- Newcastle – 48 hour stoppage commencing 0600 on 22 February 2022
- Kwinana – 48 hour stoppage commencing 0700 on 19 February 2022
- Kwinana – 48 hour stoppage commencing 0700 on 23 February 2022
- Fremantle – 48 hour stoppage commencing 0700 on 24 February 2022
- Fremantle – 48 hour stoppage commencing 0700 on 3 March 2022
