Subsea pipeline survey from south of Shek Kwu Chau to west of Lamma Island

For approximately two weeks, subsea pipeline survey will be carried out along the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum) from (A) to (I):
(A) 22° 10.351’ N 113° 57.867’ E
(B) 22° 10.646’ N 113° 58.322’ E
(C) 22° 10.573’ N 113° 58.873’ E
(D) 22° 10.465’ N 113° 59.334’ E
(E) 22° 10.387’ N 113° 59.879’ E
(F) 22° 10.466’ N 114° 03.764’ E
(G) 22° 10.613’ N 114° 04.214’ E
(H) 22° 10.917’ N 114° 04.664’ E
(I) 22° 12.288’ N 114° 05.862’ E

The works will be carried out by one dumb lighter. One tugboat and one work boat will provide assistance.

A working area of approximately 50 metres around the lighter will be established.

The hours of operation will be from 0700 to 1900 hours. No operations will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the operations will not stay in the area outside the hours of operations.

Diving operations will be carried out from time to time during the hours of work.

Vessels engaged in the operations will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution and keep clear of the operations area at slow speed, bearing in mind there are divers working in the area.
