A low pressure area has formed over East Central Bay and adjoining North Bay. It is likely to intensify. Under its influence, deep convection is taking place over North Bay and adjoining area. Squally weather may affect the maritime ports, North Bay and adjoining coastal areas of Bangladesh.
Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal No.Three (R) Three.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay and deep sea have been advised top come close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice. They are also advised not to venture into the deep sea.
