From 6 March to 15 April, soil investigation and survey works are being carried out off Changi Aviation Park Staging Ground.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.16 of 2024, the works are being conducted 24 hours daily – including 24 hours daily – including Sundays and public holidays – in the following working area:
MBH-01) 01° 21.540'N / 104° 02.220'E
MBH-02) 01° 21.438'N / 104° 02.370'E
Soil investigation works will be carried out using jack up barge. Two tugboats will be assisting to position the barge.
A safety boat will be in attendance at all times to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.
Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
1) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
2) Maintain a proper lookout;
3) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
4) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
5) Communicate with VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control) for assistance if required.
