Due to heavy snow in the Turkish Straits, operations such as vessel traffic, pilotage, motorboat services, store/provision delivery, crew change (including flights to Istanbul airport) bunkering, etc, are not permitted.
Vessel traffic in the Bosphorus Strait was suspended at 07:20 hours local time this morning (10 March) due to poor visibility.
The snow is also affecting the Marmara Region, so berthing operations in the Marmara Sea & Northern Aegean ports are also not possible.
