SGS onboard original survey report for customs

14 Dec 2021 / Chittagong, Bangladesh

All LNG vessels at the port of Chittagong must submit their cargo discharging report made by Standard Global Service (SGS) survey company to the receiver, Rupantarita Prakritik Gas Company Limited (RPGCL), to complete Import General Manifest (IGM) amendment formalities.

Without this original survey report, the customs authority will not amend the IGM formalities. The nominated SGS surveyor in Bangladesh should put the name, signature and stamp to amend the cargo quantity from customs authority, to enable RPGCL to complete the final cargo amendment formalities.

This is a matter of urgency as some vessels’ IGM amendments are still pending.
