Sediment sampling works at Gold Coast Yacht & Country Club

For approximately two months, sediment sampling works will be carried out at the following works locations (WGS 84 Datum):

(I) 22° 22.153’N 113° 59.490’E
(J) 22° 22.139’N 113° 59.466’E
(K) 22° 22.112’N 113° 59.403’E
(L) 22° 22.085’N 113° 59.423’E
(M) 22° 22.151’N 113° 59.586’E
(N) 22° 22.122’N 113° 59.537’E
(O) 22° 22.092’N 113° 59.489’E

The works will be carried out by one work boat. One guard boat will provide assistance. Vessels engaged in the works will display signals as prescribed in international and local regulations.

A working area of approximately 30 metres will be established around the work boat. Yellow marker buoys fitted with yellow flashing lights will be laid to mark the positions of the anchors extending from the work boat.

The hours of work will be from 0800 to 1800 hours. No works will be carried out on Sundays and public holidays. Vessels employed for the works will not stay in the works area outside the hours of work.

Vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution.
