A sea firing exercise by the Sri Lanka Coast Guard Ship Suraksha is scheduled in the Colombo area between 0700 and 1700 hours local time on 16 April.
The exercise will be conducted in the VCD II area within the following coordinates:
07° 21’ N, 79° 10’ E / 07° 16’N, 79° 30’ E
07° 06’ N, 79° 30’ E / 07° 03’N, 79° 10’ E
with a required surface clearance (safety margin) of 07 NM.
Vessels should keep well clear until completion of the exercise.
