A rowing event from Hong Kong to Macau will take place on 10 August 2024 (Saturday). About 8 rowing boats and 1 supporting boat are expected to participate in the event.
The outbound trip from Hong Kong to Macau will start at 0800 hours on 10 August 2024 at Tai O Public Pier, Lantau Island. It will follow a route through the western Boundary of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, thence to Hac Sa Beach, Coloane, Macau.
Masters, coxswains and persons-in-charge of vessels navigating in the vicinity should proceed with caution, giving practical consideration to the participants. Compliance with the provisions of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972 is mandatory…
…In the event of inclement weather, the event may be postponed to the fallback date of 24 August 2024 with the same time sequence as aforementioned.
