Revisions to charges

Gangavaram Port is moving towards a Green Sustainable Port which attempts to reduce its carbon footprint, waste, and pollution, and enhance biodiversity by employing sustainable practices in port and the strategies including activities that Gangavaram port undertakes to meet current and future needs of those who use it, while protecting and sustaining human and natural resources ensuring smooth global trade by sea.

In order to contribute to a greener future and support sustainable initiatives, the following charges have been revised and are applicable with effect from 1 October 2023.

Mooring Charges
- UOM: Per GT per VCN
- Existing Tariff Rate (USD): 0.0300
- Revised Tariff New Rate: 0.0410
- Minimum Charges $ 210. Applicable to all vessels

Sustainability Charges
- UOM: Per VCN
- Existing Tariff Rate: INR 5 per MT of cargo
- Revised Tariff New Rate: USD 0.115 per GT

Port Environment Protection Safety Charges & Dredging Charges
Up to 10000 GT
- Existing Tariff Rate: USD 315
- Revised Tariff New Rate: USD 400
10001 to 30000 GT
- Existing Tariff Rate: USD 475
- Revised Tariff New Rate: USD 600
More than 30000 GT
- Existing Tariff Rate: USD 630
- Revised Tariff New Rate: USD 800
