Revision of maximum permissible draft

The maximum permissible draft for the channel, Berth 1, Berth 2, Berth 3 and Berth 4 [at Karaikal] has been reviewed and the revised maximum permissible draft at high water for Panamax vessel has been declared as follows:

Channel
- Maximum permissible draft (m) up to 235m bean 32.26: 14.0
- Maximum permissible draft (m) up to 292m beam 45.00m: 13.5

Berth 1
- Maximum permissible draft (m) up to 235m bean 32.26: 13.5
- Maximum permissible draft (m) up to 292m beam 45.00m: 12.5

Berth 2
- Maximum permissible draft (m) up to 235m bean 32.26: 14.0
- Maximum permissible draft (m) up to 292m beam 45.00m: 13.5

Berth 3
- Maximum permissible draft (m) up to 235m bean 32.26: 14.0
- Maximum permissible draft (m) up to 292m beam 45.00m: 13.5

Berth 4
- Maximum permissible draft (m) up to 235m bean 32.26: 14.0
- Maximum permissible draft (m) up to 292m beam 45.00m: 13.5

The above revised drafts are applicable from 17 February 2024 to 31 March 2024. Other parameters remain the same.
