From 1 September, the Marine Assistance Fee (MAF) for tankers with a deadweight in excess of 200,000 mt. calling Ras Tanura Sea Island will be revised to bring it into alignment the Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) MAF rates at all terminals within Ras Tanura Port.
The unified fee aims to clear ambiguities and resolves concerns raised by customers by applying identical fees for VLCCs calling at the Sea Island or the Single Point Mooring facilities, thus improving the ships’ visiting experience.
