Revised parameters for vessels at CJ-I

The VOC Port Authority for Tuticorin port have issued a notice indicating revised parameters for the berthing of vessels at CJ-I as per below. The port has dismantled the older CJ-I jetty and constructed a new jetty equipped with x2 shore unloaders. Presently, trial runs are underway and no vessels are accepted at CJ-I.

Quay length (in mtrs): 301

Permissable LOA (in mtrs): 230

Permissible draught (in mtrs): 14.2 (such vessels to be handled during daylight hours and utilising a tide of at least 0.65 mtrs, in rising tide)

DWT (in mt): 80,000
