Repairs to floating sea barriers off Sentosa

Repair works are being carried out for sea barriers off Sentosa until 20 June.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.13 of 2024, the works are being conducted between 0800 and 1900 hours local time daily - including Sundays and public holidays - at sea, in the vicinity of Sentosa, within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1 1°14.560’N 103°49.495’E
2 1°14.521’N 103°49.541’E
3 1°14.496’ N 103°49.520’E
4 1°14.535’N 103°49.475’E

The repair works are being carried out by crane barge assisted by tugboats. A safety boat will attend all times to warn and re-direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of the working area.

Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
1) Keep well clear and not to enter the work area,
2) Maintain a proper lookout,
3) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution,
4) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (West Control),
5) Communicate with West control for assistance, if required.
