Repairs to floating sea barriers

From 10 January to 14 April, repair works is being carried on floating sea barriers at Sentosa Cove.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.04 of 2025, the work is being conducted from 0800 to 1900 hours local time daily - including Sundays & public holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
A) 1°14'35.85"N / 103°49'27.49"E
B) 1°14'30.67"N / 103°49'33.06"E
C) 1°14'24.72"N / 103°49'43.95"E
D) 1°14'18.86"N / 103°49'50.10"E
E) 1°14'13.24"N / 103°49'59.02"E
F) 1°14'16.24"N / 103°50'10.01"E
G) 1°14'14.36"N / 103°50'10.52"E
H) 1°14'11.17"N / 103°49'58.62"E
I) 1°14'17.44"N / 103°49'48.76"E
J) 1°14'23.30"N / 103°49'42.62"E
K) 1°14'29.24"N / 103°49'31.74"E
L) 1°14'34.44"N / 103°49'26.16"E

Repairs of the floating sea barriers are being carried out by crane barge assisted by tugboats. A safety boat is deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (West Control) and communicate with West Control for assistance, if required.
