Repair works off Changi Boardwalk

From 01 August 2020 to 31 January 2021, repair works will be conducted off Changi Boardwalk.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.39 of 2020, the works will be carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays & Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

2 01 deg. 23.409'N / 103 deg. 58.429'E
3 01 deg. 23.417'N / 103 deg. 58.423'E
4 01 deg. 23.446'N / 103 deg. 58.458'E
5 01 deg. 23.442'N / 103 deg. 58.462'E
6 01 deg. 23.443'N / 103 deg. 58.476'E
7 01 deg. 23.484'N / 103 deg. 58.459'E
8 01 deg. 23.518'N / 103 deg. 58.535'E
9 01 deg. 23.508'N / 103 deg. 58.539'E

Repair works include replacement of wooden planks and timber railings for Changi Boardwalk. A safety boat will be in attendance to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of the working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the work area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
and
e) Communicate with Sembawang Control for assistance, if required.
