Repair works at Jurong Fishery Port

From 1 to 30 June, repair works will be carried out at Jurong Fishery Port.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.47 of 2024, the work will be conducted between 08:00am and 07:00pm - including Sundays and Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01°18.532’N / 103°43.482’E
2) 01°18.528’N / 103°43.493’E
3) 01°18.500’N / 103°43.482’E
4) 01°18.503’N / 103°43.470’E

Repair works will include cutting off the damaged piles and installing new piles in its place. Works will be carried out using a crane barge and will be assisted by tug boats.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 18 (Pasir Panjang Control);
and
e) Communicate with Pasir Panjang Control on VHF Channel 18 for assistance, if required.
