Repairs are being carried out at Bedok Jetty until 30 September.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.58 of 2023 dated 26 June 2023, the works is being conducted 24 hours daily - including Sundays & public holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01° 18.500'N / 103° 56.484'E
2) 01° 18.317'N / 103° 56.555'E
3) 01° 18.302'N / 103° 56.513’E
4) 01° 18.476'N / 103° 56.446’E
The repair works will be carried out by crane and work barges assisted by tugboats.
Safety boats will be deployed to warn other craft to keep clear of the area during the dredging operations.
Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 12 (East Control);
and
e) Communicate with East Control on VHF Channel 12 for assistance, if required.
