Removal of single buoy mooring

From 25 July to 16 September, work to remove a single buoy mooring will be carried out off Sakra Basin, at the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1 01° 16.077'N / 103° 42.369'E
2 01° 16.100'N / 103° 42.382'E
3 01° 16.081'N / 103° 42.415’E
4 01° 16.058'N / 103° 42.401’E

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.065 of 2023, the work will be conducted 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays.

The Single Buoy Mooring will be removed by crane barge supported by work barges and tugboats. A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft to keep clear of the area during the operations.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

Caution : When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (West Control);
and
e) Communicate with West Control for assistance, if required.
