Work to remove the existing floating sea barrier at Pulau Punggol Timor is being carried out until 25 September.
According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.59 of 2024, the works is being conducted 24 hours daily - including Sundays and Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

2 01°25.526'N 103°53.272'E
3 01°25.602'N 103°53.322'E
4 01°25.582'N 103°53.357'E
Existing floating sea barriers will be removed to facilitate constructions access in the area. Works will be carried out using crane barges, assisted by tug boats.
Safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.
Craft involved in the work will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
and
e) Communicate with Sembawang Control on VHF Channel 21 for assistance, if required.
