Remotely controlled navigation system test & manoeuvres off Raffles Reserved Anchorage

Today and tomorrow, 9 & 10 February, remotely controlled navigation system test and manoeuvres are being conducted between 0700 and 2030 hours local time off Raffles Reserved Anchorage (ARAFR), within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01°10·111'N / 103°45·167'E
2) 01°11·337'N / 103°46·671'E
3) 01°10·832'N / 103°47·017'E
4) 01°09·772'N / 103°45·374'E

The craft will be conducting remotely controlled navigation system tests and maneuvers during the stated period in the working area. The vessel will be remotely controlled using 4G network from Shore Command Center at PSA Vista.

The activities will be suspended during the movements of Very Large Crude Carriers to SHELL Single Buoy Mooring. (for consideration to include in the PMN as per previous PMN issued on MASS trials at RRA)

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (West Control);
and
e) Communicate with West Control for assistance, if required.
