Relocation of “NEA-WRM-CNB” buoy

From 25 August, the NEA-WRM-CNB buoy in the vicinity of Johor Shoal will be relocated to 01° 19.014'N / 104° 03.083'E until 16 November.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.055 of 2022, the work to relocate the buoy will be conducted 24 hours daily – including Sundays and Public Holidays – from 25 to 27 August, during which time all vessels should navigate with caution in the vicinity of Johor Shoal.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Maintain a proper lookout;
b) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
c) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 21 (Sembawang Control);
and
d) Communicate with Sembawang Control on VHF Channel 21 for assistance, if required.
