Reinstatement works off Tanjong Penjuru

From 19 November 2024 to 19 May 2025, reinstameent works are being carried out south of Tanjong Penjuru.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.95 of 2024, are being carried out 24 hours daily - including Sundays & Public Holidays - within the working area bounded by the following co-ordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 01° 17·800'N / 103° 45·084'E
2) 01° 17·749'N / 103° 45·084'E
3) 01° 17·781'N / 103° 44·789'E
4) 01° 17·837'N / 103° 44·789'E

Foreshore reinstatement works consisting of dredging, backfilling and construction of foreshore structures will be carried out with the aid of tug boats and flat top barges.

A safety boat will be deployed to warn other craft in the vicinity of the working area.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 18 (Pasir Panjang Control);
and
e) Communicate with Pasir Panjang Control on VHF Channel 18 for assistance, if required.
