Rationalised tariff for cruise vessels extended

The ongoing rationalised tariff for cruise vessels has been extended for one more season starting from 1 October.

The composite charges for cruise vessels will be:

For first 12 hours:
USD 0.085 per GRT

For each additional hour or part thereof exceeding 12 hours:
Berth hire charges prescribed under Clause No.2.2 of SOR

Passenger charges:
USD 6.00 per passenger

The port will not charge any other rate, like berth hire, for the first 12 hours, port dues and pilotage.

Passenger charges will be applicable to all passengers, i.e. transit/embarkation/disembarkation.

The following rebates will apply:
a) 1-50 cruise ship calls per year: 10% rebate
a) 51-100 cruise ship calls per year: 20% rebate
a) Above 100 cruise ship calls per year: 30% rebate
