Pre-requisites for vessels with draft of 14.20m

Vessels proposed to be berthed at B-9, with maximum draft of 14.2 metres, must arrive even keel.

The vessel must correct the list and trim, if any, prior to docking to make the vessel even keel as it causes increase in draft which may exceed 14.2 metres.

The vessel must check the draft visually and report the arrival observed draft, while requesting for pilot. The vessel must report all six-side observed arrival draft.

The vessel with maximum draft of 14.2 metres shall be handled with the minimum tide of 0.65 metres, during flooding tide.

Pilots shall visually verify the declared port prior boarding the vessel.
