Post-quake port status (10 February)

10 Feb 2023 / Southern Turkey, Turkey

Following Monday’s powerful earthquake, Ataka Terminal is currently only being used for aid vessels, though commercial cargo operations are expected to resume in the coming days.

Meanwhile, operations are suspended until further notice at Isdemir, where damage has been reported on the quay, as well as at BTC Ceyhan, Dortyol Botas LNG Terminal and Limak Terminal at Iskenderun. The fire at Limak Terminal has now been brought under control and cooling works are underway.

Botas Ceyhan, however, remains operational with no damage and restrictions reported so far.
