Possible port closure due to weather

04 Nov 2024 / Bahamas

Adverse weather and marine conditions starting today (4 November) until 7 November could have an impact on shipping in the Bahamas, including possible port closure and suspension of OPL activities.

Swells of 3-8 feet are expected, along with winds of 25-35mph and periodic passing showers.

The Buckeye Bahamas Hub Terminal terminal, which had been closed last week due to adverse weather, reopened at 23:48 hours local time on 1 November.
