Port updates - Tuticorin

MV DARYA JAYA working at NCB-I completed cargo operations and awaiting sailing. The terminal is currently operating with own power and vessels declared for NCB-I will be taken for cargo operations as usual.

Operations at VOC-4 berth resumed with the berthing of a Urea vessel – MV PACIFIC ACHIEVEMENT, working with ship’s power.

Berth No. 9 has also resumed operations with Coal vessel discharging cargo with shore crane powered by generators. Cargo is being discharged onto the wharf since the conveyor system requires power.

With the flood water receding, labourers have started reporting in small numbers for work. Few trucks have also started plying in the port.

Power supply to the Port has been reinstated by 21st December.
