On the occasion of “Shubh Janmashtami”, all operational workplaces of Chittagong Port Authority Traffic Department (including Pangaon ICT and Dhakia ICD) will celebrate a general holiday from 08.00am on Wednesday 6 September to 08.00am on Thursday 7 September.
Ships/lighters can be operated on the holiday under special arrangements and subject to payment of additional charges. To carry out commercial activities related to food, relief and other important items, the Director (Traffic) or his subordinate officer should be informed in advance.
Necessary measures will be taken including boking adequate manpower for the purpose of conducting all operational activities under the Traffic Department (including Pangaon ICT and Dhaka ICT) at that time.
