Port tariffs to increase

Due to changes in the market and trading patterns, port tariffs at Kaarsto will increase from 1 September, as follows:

Basic fee (All Inclusive):
LPG carriers NOK 55.50 per NRT.
Crude carriers / Product tankers NOK 34.50 per NRT.

Services covered by the basic fees will be limited to what services a normal ship call requires, such as:
- Tugs arrival/departure
- Mooring/linesmen arrival/departure
- Garbage/waste
- Transportation of Stores/Provisions by tug which is done in combination with the vessel’s arrival/departure.

Other services will be charged as follows:

  • Bunkering of Fresh water 1500 NOK
  • Rental of couplings, reducers etc.: 3900 NOK per piece
  • Additional tug assistance in port or anchorage, transportation of stores/supplies to/from anchorage etc. 8500 NOK/hour
  • Linesmen for mooring at module/ro-ro jetty will be charged 10.000 NOK per outcall

Dry/bulk vessels calling module/ro-ro jetty will not be charged, unless they use linesmen and/or tugboat services.
