Due to unfavourable weather conditions (32KTS NW WIND), the port status of Buckeye Bahamas Hub Terminal was downgraded from OPEN TO RESTRICTED at 01.30 hours local time today (10 April).
Any further berthing has been suspended on outer berths.
The terminal has started removing all vessels, and port closure is anticipated.
Hazardous marine conditions are predicted for the region early in the week, with an increasing threat of convective activity. The Hub will continue to monitor the weather conditions for improvements.
