Port staff strikes

The French port staff union CGT has lodged notice of the following strike action at the port of Saint-Nazaire/Montoir in the coming weeks:

  • Cancellation of extra hours and overtime shifts since 1 January;
  • Port staff and dockers to strike 4 hours (from 12:00 to 14:00 & from 14:00 to 16:00) per day on 7, 9, 13, 15 , 17, 21, 23, 27, 29 and 31 January;
  • 48-hour strike from 06:00 on 3 February until 06:00 on 5 February.

The above strikes will affect discharging/loading of bulk cargoes.
