Port dues concession for vessels using green fuels

11 Jul 2024 / Dhamra, India

Dhamra Port is introducing a part concession scheme for vessels using alternative fuels, to meet the country’s goal of lower emissions under green port initiatives.

The waiver of port dues for vessels using LNG as their main propulsion fuel is reinstat5ed from 1 July 2024.

The waiver is applicable for vessels using green fuel like LNG/ammonia/hydrogen/electrical power as their main propulsion source within Dhamra Port limits.

The port will offer a 50% waiver on port dues only.

The waiver on port charges will not be applicable for vessels carrying LNG as a cargo and using LNG fuel.

To apply for the waiver, vessels must produce the IAPP or similar objective evidence in the form of certificate stating the specification of their engine and fuel details, prior to arrival at Dhamra Port limit and upon departure.

All other vessel related charges will be applicable as per Adani Dhamra Port BPTS tariff.
