Buckeye Bahamas Hub changed its Port Status from OPEN to CLOSED due to adverse weather conditions at 1500 hours local time yesterday (21 October).
The on-duty Marine Pilot conducted a weather assessment in preparation for berthing a vessel to an outer berth and reported the winds of 19->22 knots, gusting to 28 knots, and sea of 3->5 feet. Due to these conditions, he deemed it unsafe to berth any vessels to the outer berths at this time.
