Planned industrial action

Patrick Terminals have advised that they have received new notification of industrial action at Melbourne from the Maritime Union of Australia, as follows:

  • 8-hour work stoppage commencing at 1100 hours on Wednesday 15 September.
  • 8-hour work stoppage commencing at 1100 hours on Friday 17 September.
  • 4-hour work stoppage commencing at 0300 hours on Wednesday 15 September.
  • 4-hour work stoppage commencing at 0300 hours on Friday 17 September.
  • Ban on the working of overtime from 0700 hours on Tuesday 14 September until 0700 hours on Monday 20 September.
  • Ban on the working of shift extensions 0700 hours on Tuesday 14 September until 0700 hours on Monday 20 September.

The action will have an impact on vessels and may cause delays of 24-48 hours.
