Pipeline inspection, flushing & preservation works at SBM south of Pulau Sebarok

Pipeline inspection, flushing and preservation works are being conducted at the Single Buoy Mooring (SBM) south of Pulau Sebarok until 10 April.

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No.25 of 2025, the work is being conducted at sea 24 hours daily - including Sundays and Public Holidays - within the working area, extending 500 meters from the center of point 1 (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 1° 11.463’N / 103° 47.427’E

Pipeline inspection and preservation works will be carried out by work barges, assisted by tugboats.

Anchoring and diving activities are being carried out within the work area, marked by surface anchor buoys.

A safety boat is in attendance at all times to warn and direct craft in the vicinity to keep clear of working area.

Craft involved in the works exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the respective working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear and not to enter the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (West Control); and Communicate with West Control for assistance, if required.
