Official institutions in Turkey will be closed from 12:00 hours local time on 8 July until 18 July due to the Sacrifice holiday. Banks will also close for most of this period, except for 13 & 14 July when they will open.
Some ports may suspend their operations between these dates. At others, the tariff for official services (pilotage, towage, mooring, customs) will be increased by 50%. There will also be a 50% additional pilotage charge in the Turkish Straits between these dates.
Ship owners and operators are urged to ensure that all arrangements for their crew, spare, provision, documentation, etc. are made in advance of the holiday enabling arrangements to be made in well in advance.
