New mooring & tugboat services tariff

A new tariff for mooring and tugboat services is in effect at Hammerfest since 1 July 2022.

MOORING AND TUGBOAT SERVICES

Ship size: < 1.999 DWT
- Mooring / unmooring each arrival: 3,300 NOK
- Each tugboat for each mission: 25,400 NOK
- Each mooring boat for each mission: 7,900 NOK

Ship size: 2.000-4.999 DWT
- Mooring / unmooring each arrival: 6,400 NOK
- Each tugboat for each mission: 25,400 NOK
- Each mooring boat for each mission: 7,900 NOK

Ship size: 5.000-14.999 DWT
- Mooring / unmooring each arrival: 16,500 NOK
- Each tugboat for each mission: 33,400 NOK
- Each mooring boat for each mission: 7,900 NOK

Ship size: 15.000-29.999 DWT
- Mooring / unmooring each arrival: 24,600 NOK
- Each tugboat for each mission: 42,700 NOK
- Each mooring boat for each mission: 7,900 NOK

Ship size: 30.000-49.999 DWT
- Mooring / unmooring each arrival: 33,300 NOK
- Each tugboat for each mission: 51,100 NOK
- Each mooring boat for each mission: 7,900 NOK

Ship size: 50.000-99.999 DWT
- Mooring / unmooring each arrival: 41,600 NOK
- Each tugboat for each mission: 59,800 NOK
- Each mooring boat for each mission: 7,900 NOK

Ship size: > 100.000 DWT
- Mooring / unmooring each arrival: 49,900 NOK
- Each tugboat for each mission: 68,000 NOK
- Each mooring boat for each mission: 7,900 NOK

A tugboat assistance beyond 2.5 hours due to the ship will billed with kr. 7,900 per hour foreach started half hour (escort tug excluded).

Tugs operate under "The Scandinavian Tugowner Association Standard Towage Conditions".

HARBOUR FEE

Harbour fees will be billed for all calls. Calculation of harbour dues are ship NT (net tonnage). Basic fee refers to ships built with double hulls (ie double bottom and double sides) and segregated ballast tanks (SBT). Double hull and SBT: 0% addition.

Ships not built according to these requirements, the following percentage additions:
- Double bottom and SBT 10% additions
- Double Page and SBT 15% additions
- Single hull and SBT 20% additions
- Single hull without SBT: 30% additions

Basic fee:
LNG-vessels (charged only basic fee) NOK 17,14 pr. NT
LPG-Vessels (charged only basic fee) NOK 17,14 pr. NT
Oil tankers (plus any additional fee) NOK 12,66 pr. NT
Dry cargo vessels (charged only basic fee) NOK 11,00 pr. NT

It is incumbent upon the ship / vessel shipping company to submit evidence that the above criteria are met.

ESCORT

All tankers carrying polluting or explosive cargo or are not gas-free shall have escort tug to and from Melkøya harbor or from anchor area.

Ship size < 14.999 DWT
- Tariff for each mission: 51,100 NOK
- Requirements for Tugs size: BP 100 t / SF

Ship size 15.000-29.999 DWT
- Tariff for each mission: 59,700 NOK
- Requirements for Tugs size: BP 100 t / SF

Ship size 30.000-49.999 DWT
- Tariff for each mission: 68,400 NOK
- Requirements for Tugs size: BP 100 t / SF

Ship size 50.000-99.999 DWT
- Tariff for each mission: 77,000 NOK
- Requirements for Tugs size: BP 100 t / SF

CREW

Use of crew will be billed according to the Statoil`s standard hourly rates

TUGBOATS USED FOR TRANSPORT

Micro Tugboat / Mooring boat 5,200 NOK per hour
Harbour tug (BP 100 t) 7,900 NOK per hour
Escort tug (BP 100 t) 7,900 NOK per hour

Loading, delivery and sailing shall be counted as time used. Minimum time counts as 2 hours per mission. Time beyond this will be billed with respective rates. The time start when the tug leaves their sites until they are back after completing mission.

TUGBOATS EXTERNAL

Tugboats which will be leased to external missions, that are not concerned with the operation of the Hammerfest LNG facilities shall be approved in each case. Where approval is granted, the tugboats owner must set the vessel in “Offhire” and set the tariff for rental. Charterer shall be paid as provided in A / C.7.

State coastal fees and Hammerfest Port Authority Port fees are not included in this tariff.
